Mr. Parker’s extensive experience in the trading of fossil fuel commodities and his involvement with liquified natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel conversion issues on an international scale over the past decade have led him to the current opportunity for leadership in the upstream oil and gas industry. While at Newmont Mining Corporation, he worked on the duel-fuel conversion of massive strip mining equipment. Later as a member of the Advisory Board of Lloyd’s Register Group Ltd., he travelled extensively around the world, collaborating with ship classification societies such as the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and Lloyds, as well as numerous major shipyards to advance the development of standards for conversion of diesel-fueled ships to the new LNG standard. More recently, Mr. Parker has focused on the brokering of natural gas to major industrial customers, public utilities and department of defense customers. This experience has been invaluable in leading the Energex Power management team in the smooth transition of its gas and oil well portfolio to increased efficiency, reliability, and production. Mr. Parker’s primary role in the day-to-day operations of Energex focuses on finding new sources of capital to underpin Energex’s aggressive plans for the acquisition of additional assets and the continuous improvement of our current portfolio.
